I am a freelance writer based in Halifax, NS. I graduated from Mount St. Vincent University with a BA in English Literature in 2000. While working for IMP aerospace I was the writer, editor, photographer, and publisher for CAW Local 2215’s newsletter and website. Article writing and website content have been my focus for the last several years. I’ve written articles for publications such as Our Children magazine and Restaurants and Hotels magazine. Among other topics, I have written articles on design, local interest, agriculture, business, labour relations, occupational health and safety, and woman’s issues. I also have experience in managing social media profiles and building a following for those pages. As a member of the Writer’s Federation of Nova Scotia I am able to take advantage of their workshops and network with other professional writers in the area. This allows me to keep up to date on current information and trends in my field.
